I’m experiencing some server issues. Everything should be back to normal soon, but in the meantime please forgive any misbehaving links, infinity loops, missing pictures, and other signs of the webpocalypse.

Finals week is upon us and I have finished my two papers in record time. I’m sharing them with you because I think one of them is informative and because the other one was just a hoot to write.

1) Childbirth in American Hospitals
I explore the ways in which the American medical system submits women to unnecessary health risks during delivery in the name of convenience.

2) Analysis of Luce Irigaray
I summarize the work of bat-shit crazy (and eventually lovable) feminist theorist, Luce Irigaray, and offer my own criticisms on her labia-obsessed essentialism. Worth a read. Not suitable for small children.

Practiced lighting set ups in class today. This is me if I was in a GAP advertisment.

We are shootin’ a movie. Working title is Boxman. Coming to a media player near you.

This is a really sad day. My favorite, fashionable shoes have departed from this world. (That tan area use to be 3/4 inch wedge heel.) I have to buy some emergency sneakers on the walk to work, lest I be eternally barefoot. It’s probably for the best though. All this summer rain has made them smell like burning acid.

i’m pretty sure 80% of the movie was completely fabricated, but i am 100% okay with that, because, well, i heard there is already a book or something. for me, this movie is like an awesome fan fiction supplement that provides all the cool moments that happened between the lines and none of the moments that actually happened. aka the best.

otherwise, i laughed, i cringed, i cried, and i noticed four visual effects that stuck out like an unshaded primitive.

(oh, and the felix felicis scene might be my favorite in all harry potter history ever. and also i love lav-lav.)
