This is what happens when you let me make my own Halloween costume.

I’m going to make more things with my hands.

So, Uncle Lou sent me a DVD of our family picture archive and I spent 2 hours last night flipping through them. I picked out my favorites and will be posting them here occasionally.

This is Poppop, my dad, and Leticia on my Dad’s confirmation day. Coincidentally, today is Poppop’s birthday and my dad’s was on the 7th. Guess which one is my dad. Hint: It’s not hard.

A tisket a tasket, this is my last Easter Basket. Items of note: sunblock for California and a gift card to 7-11; the Easter Bunny is so smart.

We had dinner with the Amadio side. It was cool. We talked about our family’s genealogy and immigration stories. Poppop even showed me all these old letters from the 1900s written to and from Italy. I think I might take Italian lessons when I get to California.

We also swung by my dad’s work, and he had these pictures hanging in his office. My mom is the original Lady Gaga.

I got to visit Poppop yesterday. He fed me delicious cabbage things with bread. Then we went down to the river, which was crazy flooded. The water was lapping over the edge of the bridge.

Today Rae Anne made a trip to the ER. I brought my camera and we had a glamor shoot. She was released later in the evening.

Went to my sister’s gym so I could shoot some action to roto for my demo reel. Should have brought a brace for my wrist, though, after holding the EX1 in my right hand for 2 hours.

Went for a tour of Eastern State with my mom and sister today. Super interesting. Makes me want to become an advocate for inmate rights. We ate at Mugshots, which I like a lot. Mmm black beans! I walked home and got some good ideas for shooting this weekend. I <3 Fairmount.
