Because I enjoy having my blog as a database of my life, I’ve decided to retroactively post some pictures from my past travels. Enjoy these old school 35mm photographs.
My mom is here! And we ate Jamaican patties and ice cream at The Big Chill (I had pralines ‘n cream!!). Then we had tea and fries at Sneaks. It was a pretty neat place to hang out with your mom (see above).
As for my time in the big T.O. I’d say it was pretty darn good. A little rocky perhaps, but I have no regrets. And as brett said, I “have collected all the items in world two” so I guess that means I did a pretty good job at being Canadian. Catch you on the phillyside.
Spent the weekend in Queens with Trina and Gina. We made nachos and slept in a room with a window AC unit which made me have all sorts of flash back memories of last summer. The next day we checked out a street fair while eating organic apples. I am warming up to this city. As long as I can live in Astoria.
My travel plans go unfathomably wrong. Highlights include getting picked up in Trenton by Talia at 3am in the morning and getting locked out of 014 at 4am. We eat beignets many* times at Cafe du Monde. I eat delicious salmon with creme brulee for dessert at NOLA, courtesy of Alex Chabot and Co. I wear my cute shoes and take a picture of them. There is a river. Bourbon St is ragey, we retreat to said water. We eat sloppy hamburgers. There is killer jazz and authenticness* at Fritzels. Look, floats! Crin, Mike, and my myself explore the French Quarter. We eat expensive convention center food. I consume an apple*. Jacob and Jo are there and so are the soph-mores. I am cute*.
*Photos leveraged from rinblog. mine are all here.
