Spoon Carving @ Grain & Knot

I went to a spoon carving workshop hosted by the local London craftswoman behind Grain & Knot. Five of us carved a spoon from pre-shaped blanks of walnut before enjoying a fancy meal in the extremely photogenic Town Hall Hotel Cafe.

Poland: Muzeum Witrażu, Krakow

I had a whopping four days to spend in Krakow so I was looking for interesting things to do beyond the typical tourist stuff. My new thing is looking for local workshops or classes and I found the perfect one at Museum Witrazu, an active stained glass workshop and gallery. The image above is their front door.

File Box Craft

I made a file organizer out of an old box. I collaged it with a children’s bible stories book and put a random lady in the middle because women are awesome. Notice the gold leaf which is a homage to art.

Handmade Wedding Car and Envelope

Here is a handmade card and envelope I made for Jacob and Jo’s wedding present. It took about four hours. The illustration is from a 1948 fairytale book and the envelope has an accordion-style construction on the sides. Here is the reverse side.
