Croatia: Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is a neat place. It definitely has one of the most unique layouts I’ve ever scene. The tourists drag it down a little bit, but the magic of exploring things just beyond the walls makes up for it, I think.

Croatia: Mljet Island

Mljet is probably the least populated of the main islands because most of it is a National Park. We arrived by ferry from Split and after much absurdity we checked into our guesthouse, which is pictured just there on the water’s edge.

Croatia: Boat Trip to Hvar

I didn’t want to go to Hvar Island because I had heard it was a ritz party island. Maybe it is during high season, but I’m glad I ignored my instict and stopped for a visit. Our catamaran boat tour stopped for an hour or two on Hvar for a walking tour and some free time. It was so nice!
